Kevin D. Norris, M.D.
Medical Director
Originally from Salina and graduated from Coronado High School, El Paso, Texas in 1982. Dr. Norris graduated with his undergraduate degree and from medical school at the University of Kansas in 1991. He then completed a residency in Family Medicine at St. Paul Ramsey Medical Center in St. Paul, Minnesota before joining Wedel, Barker and Burnett Family Practice in Salina in 1993 (now known as COMCARE). He became Medical Director of Hospice of Salina in 1994 and currently holds that position. He is board certified in Family Medicine with a Certificate of Added Qualification in Hospice and Palliative Medicine. He also is a volunteer preceptor for the University of Kansas Medical School.

Rebecca Hansen, MSN, MBA, RN
Hospice of Salina Manager
Originally from Kansas City, Kansas Rebecca graduated from Wyandotte High School and attended the University of Kansas, Lawrence graduating with her bachelor’s in Human Biology. Hansen took a stair step approach obtaining and working as a certified nurse’s aide, Licensed Practical nurse and Registered nurse, before earning her Masters of Nursing Administration and Masters of Business Administration at the University of Mary, Bismarck, SD. She was clinic manager of the Wound Care Center at Advent Health Shawnee Mission prior to moving to Salina to be closer to family. Hansen has been the manager of Hospice of Salina for over five years; she brings years of experience in medical surgical, geriatrics, memory care, wound care and nursing to the organization.
